Site Engineering contracted with Gwinnett County and restored approximately 2,100 linear feet of stream restoration on unnamed tributaries to the Chattahoochee River located in the Peachtree Station and River Valley Subdivisions.

The project included the installation of 42 in-stream structures, one stormwater concrete drop structure, 85 linear feet of storm drain, two rip rap plunge pools, 200 If of stormwater swales, slope stabilization with geogrid reinforcement, a stone infiltration basin, coir wattles, and soil encapsulated lifts. Also, included were temporary & permanent sediment and erosion control, landscaping the riparian buffer, and restoring all areas disturbed during construction. The project was the Winner of the 2015 GA ASCE Outstanding Civil Engineer Award in Natural Environment.
