Athens On Call Water Line Replacement

Site Engineering was contracted by Athens-Clarke County as the on-call contractor to replace and maintain water mains as issues arose. The contract was renewed twice, for a total of three years. Site worked at several sites throughout Athens-Clarke County, installing 8,164 lf of 8” DIP, 100lf of 8” RJ DIP, and 80lf of 6” DIP. These pipe replacements were accomplished via open cut method and jack and bore. Controlled blasting was required to clear rock at some sites. Site also replaced fire hydrants throughout the county as required. All erosion control, traffic control, and asphalt removal and replacement were provided to the county.
