This project consisted of the installation of a gravity sewer line crossing Settingdown Circle and Georgia 400 (SR-19), including approximately 400 linear feet of jack and bore construction. The work also included the installation of approximately 2,100 linear feet of 12-inch PVC C900 pipe and 11 precast manholes.
The project presented significant challenges due to the extreme depths of the sewer main, reaching up to 30 vertical feet, which required extensive trench shoring and enhanced safety measures. Additionally, substantial clearing and grading were necessary to establish the new sewer easement and facilitate construction.
